Common Questions

Everything You Want to Know

New to track driving? Here’s what our customers ask most often. Can’t find your answer? Just give us a call.

Absolutely. Our SRF3 race cars exceed SCCA competition safety standards — tube-frame chassis, six-point harness, integrated fire suppression, and full driver PPE (helmet, suit, gloves, shoes). Every driver receives a thorough pre-drive briefing and is accompanied by a professional instructor.

None required. The Level 1 “First-Time Thrill” experience is designed specifically for complete beginners. You just need a valid driver’s licence and the ability to drive a manual transmission (we’ll give you a quick primer if needed).

Comfortable long pants, closed-toe shoes with thin soles (running shoes or driving shoes are ideal), and a cotton t-shirt. We provide the racing suit, gloves, helmet, and HANS device.

Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driver’s licence. Minimum height is ~5’2″ to safely reach the pedals. Maximum driver weight is around 260 lbs for safety harness fit. Medical conditions like severe back issues or recent surgery may disqualify — contact us if you’re uncertain.

Absolutely — spectators are encouraged. We have designated viewing areas, and some packages include paddock access. Bring the kids, bring the cameras.

Track days run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe (lightning, flooding). Wet-weather driving is actually an incredible learning experience. If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you are fully rescheduled or refunded at no cost.

Level 1 is approximately 2 hours (briefing + track time + debrief). Level 2 is 4 hours. Level 3 is a full 7-8 hour day. Plan for extra time on arrival for paperwork and gear fitting.

Full refund 14+ days before your booked date. Within 14 days, deposits become transferable to another date within 12 months. No-shows forfeit the deposit. We understand emergencies — reach out and we’ll do our best.

Yes. We regularly host company team-building days, client entertainment, bachelor parties, and milestone celebrations. Groups from 4 to 40 drivers. See our Corporate page or contact us for a custom quote.

Our standard experiences use our Spec Racer Ford 3 fleet so every driver gets the same controlled environment. For HPDE (High Performance Driver Education) in your own car, contact us — we have partner programs for that.
